Kellie Worrell lives in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in southwestern Virginia with her family. She and her husband had a hand-picked vegetable farm for several years. Since then, Kellie has served as the Food Safety Officer for a large vegetable operation, and currently is the GLOBALG.A.P. Scheme Manager at a certification body. Kellie's books include a Virginia Ag In the Classroom Book of the Year and a commissioned book for Virginia Cooperative Extension. Her passion is writing children's stories that reflect accurate agriculture so that children become more in touch with the sources of their food.
